The replacement cartridge for HDI FTEC-C1 is designed precisely so that it can be used for all HDI PURE FTEC-1 units.

The HDI PURE FTEC-1 is equipped with Filar or Filartech technology, which consists of 1728 special fibers. Each fiber is composed of 3 layers and has 1 trillion pores, each 0.1 micron in diameter. Filartech fiber membrane filters out rust, bacteria, coli bacilli, as well as microorganisms and other microscopic materials in water without removing calcium, magnesium and other minerals.

The performance period of the HDI FTEC-C1 Cartridge reaches 12 months or about 20 liters per day when used proportionately and according to the instructions for use.

When should I replace the cartridge?
  • When the water flow rate is reduced.
  • While still smelling chlorine in purified water.
  • If the grace period for using the cartridge has passed.
(After filtering about 8000 liters of water or about 12 months with an estimated water consumption of 20 liters per day)

Recommended cartridge usage duration
  • About 12 months if the use per day is about 20 liters
  • About 8 months if the use per day is about 30 liters
For best results, observe the following instructions
  • This product is only used for tap water.
  • The period of use of the cartridge depends on the quality and turbidity of the water.
  • After the cartridge is installed, immediately run water slowly through the cartridge for 30 seconds before using the unit.
  • Each day, during initial use, allow the water to run through the HDI PURE FTEC-1 for about 10 seconds first.
  • Do not run water with a temperature of more than 35°C through the Filartech cartridge.
  • Do not flow water with a temperature of more than 50°C through the HDI PURE FTEC-1 unit, whatever the conditions.
In order for the cartridge to last, follow the following maintenance methods
  • Do not place the cartridge near a strong smelling substance. The cartridge will absorb the odor and lose its purification ability.
  • Place the cartridge in a dry and clean place.
  • Do not open the protective plastic bag before using the cartridge.
